Newton's Second Law Lab Report was due 9/25

Your lab report was due on Thursday, 9/25, but you may turn it in up to next Thursday, 10/2. Remember that each school day it is late, 10% is taken off. Here are the sections you need in your lab report:

Question: You had a choice of "How does force affect acceleration" or "How does mass affect acceleration."
Hypothesis
Materials
Procedure
: make sure you only write the procedure you followed. There were two different procedures on the sheet I gave you.
Data: raw data needs to be in a data table, followed by your graph of acceleration vs. mass or acceleration vs. force.
Analysis Questions: 1. Describe any trends you see in your graph.
2. Is there a relationship between your variable (force or mass depending on which lab you did) and acceleration? If so, what is that relationship?
Conclusion:
1. Restate your hypothesis. "My hypothesis was..."
2. Did you prove or disprove your hypothesis? "My data shows that this hypothesis was...(correct/incorrect)
3. Use specific pieces of data and your graph to support your conclusion. Show HOW your data proves or disproves the hypothesis.
4. Last sentence: restate the relationship you discovered between force and acceleration or mass and acceleration (you did one or the other, but I don't know which).
